Many a time I've sat on those rocks watching the planes coming in before walking on to Playa Honda then returning to Matagorda. Last place I stayed was in one of the villas in the Costa Sal Suites which I can highly recommend. So handy for the centre, taxi rank around the corner, snd, bus stop across the road.

Got to say O'Sheas waited over an hour for a full brekky, when I said I hadn't been served the lovely Irish chef came out said she was so sorry and ended up with the biggest breakfast ever for free,,,,, so I tipped €10😊

You do not have to get off your bike and walk it….just ride through the streets of Playa Honda for a mile

Brilliant tour and video Dave 👍. My wife and I have booked the Las Gaviotas superior bungalows in Matagorda for the first two weeks in October 2024 (can't wait 😎🤣). This will be the third time in Matagorda over the past 25 years. Stayed at Las Marinas and Los Pocillos apartments previously. Thank you for filming and take care 👍
We usually budget £100 per day for food etc and it’s more than enough and we eat out a lot plus beers , wine and snacks etc usually have money over
We stayed in the gaviotas years ago good location . That room was class right on the beach

We prefer Matagorda and los pocillos to PDC much more chilled . Though playa Blanca is our favourite place

Mr T , watching you on catch up , do they remove the lockets every year as last year that little vault thing that you walked up to see that hotel Beatrix potter , I leave a locket every year for my late son Daniel 17 years old , he loved Lanzarote 😢 and I noticed that it was gone , that’s why I go every Xmas to leave a locket for him ❤
