Kobe is the capital city of Hyogo Prefecture in Japan with a population around 1,5 million.

Kobe is Japan’s seventh largest city and the third largest port city after Tokyo and Yokohama.

The history of Kobe is closely tied to that of the Ikuta Shrine. The landmark of the port area is the red steel : Kobe Port Tower, and a Ferris Wheel sits in nearby Harborland, is a notable tourist promenade.
