BUDGET Day Trip to AYUTTHAYA From Bangkok (Under £10!) 🇹🇭
A day trip from Bangkok to Ayutthaya might sound expensive, but there are ways to do it on a budget! Join us as we leave Bangkok in the morning and spend a day in the Ancient Capital of Siam exploring all the sights and all the Wats. Along the way, we will give you all the tips that you need to do the day for less than £10 (445 baht).
The easier way to get to Ayutthaya from Bangkok is on the train. We booked ours at the station, but you can check the schedule online beforehand. Some trains are priced higher than others though, so if you want to save money, make sure you take the slow train in third class! You can also get a motorbike to rent if you want to spend a bit more money, but cycling around Ayutthaya was fine and enjoyable!
As always, we’re backpacking, we’re on a budget, but we’re trying to do as much as possible. Join the journey by hitting subscribe and let’s jump into exploring the ancient city of Ayutthaya!
