Video Boost test of the Pixel 9 Pro XL – HDR will be available once YouTube finishes processing the video 🙏
More tests on different settings to follow (including night videos)
Settings – 4K 60FPS HDR; Video Boost processing on Google servers, took several hours even for this short video
Editing – No additional color grading, audio direct from phone (slightly boost sound level)
Controls – Only access to main and telephoto cameras while recording with video boost. Not able to use ultrawide camera for some reason 😢

Interesting video. I'll have to look into what the boosting actually does later. Not being able to use the wide angle is strange. Is it a resolution issue, perhaps? It would be odd if it was though on a flagship model.

The video looks great but it’s missing something, your other vids looked great but had a “crispness” (the only word I can think of to use) to them.
Ignoring the flickering signs, this vid doesn’t make me feel like I’m there like the others did.
Not so perfect like Iphone.

This one looks sharper when moving forward. Still not great with panning but this Video Boost function to my eye seems to help with sharpness.

60fps fake frames HDR only in boost mode and you can only record 5 mins? Thats pathetic! Thanks for sharing!
