Hamamatsu resident Michihiro Ema (@tsurunohito) shared his passion for miniature origami with fans attending last Saturday’s Rugby World Cup match between Japan and Ireland. Ema, who has focused on the art of incredibly tiny paper cranes for over 25 years, made sets of connected cranes (known as “renzuru” or “imoseyama”) featuring the flags of Japan and the Irish Rugby Football Union. He told The Japan Times he wished for them to represent a good match and even friendlier relations between the two countries. 📹: Dan Orlowitz (@dokool)
