00:01Tokyo’s red light districts, such as Kabukicho in Shinjuku, transform into bustling hubs of activity at midnight. Here’s what it’s like:
Neon Lights: The area is illuminated by an array of bright neon lights in various colors, creating a vivid and almost surreal atmosphere. These lights come from the many signs advertising bars, clubs, and other establishments.
Crowded Streets: The streets are packed with people, a mix of locals and tourists. There’s a constant flow of pedestrians, making the area feel alive and energetic.
Lively Atmosphere: The overall vibe is chaotic and lively. Music spills out from clubs and bars, blending with the sounds of chatter and laughter from the crowds.
Street Vendors and Shops: Numerous street vendors and small shops line the sidewalks, selling food, drinks, and various goods. This adds to the energetic and bustling environment.
Bars and Clubs: The district is known for its numerous bars, clubs, and entertainment venues. These places are often packed with people looking to enjoy Tokyo’s nightlife.
Mixed Crowds: The crowd is diverse, with people from different backgrounds and cultures coming together. There are salarymen unwinding after work, tourists exploring the nightlife, and locals enjoying a night out.
Edgy and Mysterious: The atmosphere has an edgy and slightly mysterious feel. The bright lights and crowded streets contrast with the darker, less visible parts of the area.
Contrasting Elements: Despite the lively and vibrant front, there are also quieter, less visible areas where different aspects of nightlife unfold, adding to the area’s mystique.
Overall, Tokyo’s red light districts at midnight are a unique blend of energy, excitement, and intrigue, offering a glimpse into the city’s vibrant and multifaceted nightlife.

I watch many videos about walks in Japan, but yours are definitely the best.
You can hear people talking, random stuff always happens, people interact with you, you interact with them, etc… It all comes more natural.
