Because I left my home early like 6am, It took about 4 hours to reach Kawazu city in Shizuoka. I only slept for 3 hours on the day 😅 Onsen smoke…! Kawazu city Shops that sell local things. Let’s try this. Sakura “Taiyaki” 250 yen I am at the way along the river.

Love the combination of pink and sky blue. I felt sakura flavor inside Sakura “Taiyaki” 🌸 Let’s keep on walking this long way. Some shops were selling seedling of Kawazu sakura. I also saw stores selling local orange. Seisoku-ji temple This temple belongs to Rinzai sect. Rinzai sect is one of three major Zen sects.

They have many kinds of stamps. I came to get seasonal “Goshuin” stamp 🌸 Someone who came up with this design is genius. The temple is not by the river but I also saw sakura. Came back to the way. Sakura after blooming is also beautiful no? 🍃 Going to that bridge.

The most blooming sakura I saw. Took selfie with the tree ❤️ Gave up to go further. Found foot bath onsen before going to a park. Heading to a park with dynamic onsen ♨️ Mineonsen Daifunyu Park There’s mini show that onsen blows out every hour here. Boiled egg with onsen water…!

I even tried foot bath. It was too hot so I could stand for 10 seconds only. It’s time. 30 secs with cold water. So yummy! Kawazu sakura original tree I stopped by at original tree on my way back. It took time to get here. But it was worth seeing those Kawazu sakura 🌸

Ito city It took 1 hour from Kawazu to reach Ito, onsen city. Marugen This Japanese bar is famous for “Uzuwa”, a kind of bonito🐟 “Uzuwa” set 1280 yen I will eat according to instructions. Mix “Uzuwa” with soy sauce and green chili. And eat with rice. Another way is to add soup. Yummy!

Local wasabi…! Let’s visit my favorite place. Tokaikan This place used to be an onsen hotel from 1928 to 1997. Now it’s donated to Ito city and you can take a tour with 200 yen. They provided me a room to work for a few hours when I visited.

Simplicity of Japanese style room helped my concentration. Finished work so let’s explore other rooms. Very spacious room. I have never played Go, have you ? I liked this large hall the most. I hope you can tell the size of this room. 360 degrees of Japanese tile roof view.

This building too spacious and I almost got lost. This room is called as peony room. Bellflower Orchid Hollyhock This Japanese cafe is in the building. Matcha set 550 yen I hope this historical building will last forever. I personally feel atmosphere of spirited away. Matsubara Hot Spring I enjoyed one of local onsens.

There’s also a beach at the city. Got dinner from convenience store. Gotemba city Gotemba Premium Outlets You can see Mt.Fuji if the weather is good… There’s helicopter experience nearby the outlet. We enjoyed horse riding experience. Came back to outlet area. Konohananoyu Stair shaped shelf… I again enjoyed onsen. Thanks for watching! Arigato 🗼
