Kobe Luminarie is one of the largest illumination events in Japan,
held in the city center of Kobe.
Held since 1995 to commemorate the victims of the Great Hanshin-Awaji
Earthquake and to pass on their memories to next generations.
Now, it is popular as an annual winter event.
Although the event had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic,
it is held for the first time in four years in January 2024.
