Hey mate, probably a question better suited for a different subreddit? ^^ Maybe you can search for the question on Google, or on the r/LearnJapanese subreddit to see if it’s been asked? And then ask if it hasn’t already been asked?

Yes. They can’t pronounce it, the grammar is totally different, there are a lot of characters that are not used in Japanese. But, it’s kind of similar to how an English speaker can read French. They might not understand it, but there are enough common words to get a small idea of what it’s about.
