15:34 Please understand that there’s no such thing as “Sumatran” food, as each province in Indonesia is the size of small- to medium-sized country. Jambi province alone is bigger than countries like Dominican Republic, Denmark, or Netherlands. Even Bangka Belitung Islands are bigger than countries like Montenegro, Qatar, or Gambia.
15:41 New Guinea is the largest island (though not entirely under Indonesia), Borneo is the second one (also not entirely under Indonesia), and Sumatra is the third.
23:12 And as someone from Borneo, I have to correct Arie because “Kalimantan” is the synonym of Borneo in Indonesian. Our ancestors used this name to refer to the whole island, long before the birth of a nation called Indonesia.
better than most of the popular youtubers

What we called JAJANAN PASAR are actually those various traditional cakes that usually made from rice, cassava, sagu, sticky rice…combined with coconut milk/springkles, pandan, palm sugar, banana, and so on. Some are wrapped with plastics and banana leaves. While those you bought are the modern ones. If I were you, I will buy the traditional ones. They're mostly cheaper too LOL

Same with a lot of bakeries in Kenya. If you want coffee, you go to a cafe or restaurant unless you're in a high end /bougee neighbourhood😀😀.
