I always wanted to get a colour analysis done, and I’m telling you … I was shook! I never knew what colors suit me, so I usually just wore the color’s I liked, without knowing if they really suit me. So now that I know what suits me best, It will hopefully make me more confident fashion wise!
I had my appointment at Color me Tokyo – an English speaking colour consultation in Tokyo!

So what exactly is a colour analysis?
Its a popular service here in Japan that helps you discover the most flattering colors for your clothing, makeup, and overall appearance.
There’s 4 different seasons. Spring and Autumn have warm undertones, Winter and Summer have cool undertones.

So how do you find out your perfect color palette?
There’s a variety of techniques to determine your ideal color palette. Factors such as skin tone, eye color, and the color of your veins help indicate your best season. Certain colours will emphasize your overall appearance making your skin brighter, while other colors may bring out redness or dark spots on your face.

So what Season am I?
My perfect match is a light summer! So pastel colors with a cool undertone fit me the best. We also discovered that red looks great on me and a pastel purple shade, a colour that I never wear! I feel like a new door has opened for me, making me wanna try new colors I would have never even considered wearing.
