Eating at convenience stores in South Korea is a huge part of the culture, so in this video, I spend a whole day eating there.

  1. OMG watching you struggle with the triangle kimbap cracked me up. I love your approach though trying whatever looks interesting. I live in Korea and have been here since the pandemic where I felt safe in ways that I never felt. Next time, try eating at the convenience store by the Han River. They have all the condiments where you can add sausage and eggs – not to mention kimchi and scallions. Thanks for sharing your experience.

  2. Oh man… Kimchi is basically eaten with rice. Or you can eat it with ramen or tofu. Actually, there are too many combinations. Anyway, there are few cases where you eat kimchi alone. Korean food is basically based on rice and is eaten with side dishes. And triangle kimbap unpacking.. oh man…😊

  3. 11:46 여직원이 센스있게 덜 매운걸 추천했네요. 당신이 매운걸 못 먹을 수도 있다고 생각했나봐요. 보통 저 세대의 여성들은 아주 매운 라면들을 즐겨 먹어요.

  4. I admire how you can travel by yourself all over the world. Adventure is your middle name.

  5. Dollar is strong these days to travel oversea.
    I'm planning a trip myself.
    Enjoy your trip!

  6. bro you should peel off the plastic of Kimbap verticality first and then peel the sides last lol

  7. Easy strip away the Triangle Kimbab
    1. Tear off a string(number 1) at center (it is showed behind)
    2. Pull out number 2 part wrap.
    3. Re interleave number 2 part wrap on the Kimbab and re- grab it again and~
    4. Pull out number 3 wrap part away.
    5. And Eat it with grabbing number 2 plastic wrap.

  8. They purposely separate the nori wrap with the rice cake by a layer plastic wrap to aviod the nori wrap becoming soggy when eating. There must be a convenient way to quickly remove the plastic layer. You can ask shop clerks how to remove the rice cake package.

  9. Bro, props for hitting up Korea. We lived in Daegu for 2.5 years. Loved it! My kids loved the convenience store meals. Probably spent a small fortune on the way home from school. Keep up the travels, and Go Army beat Navy!

  10. Lunch box: sliced korean sausage on rice; o-deng, or fish cakes; tiny little dried fish; kimchi you got correctly; that was not bulgogi on the left, you would not be getting bulgogi in one of those E-mart deo-shi-rak; bulgogi is marinated beef, usually you'll only get that in a restaurant. Good job though.

  11. The War Memorial is right outside of whatever is left of Yongsan Army Garrison, was stationed there 1994-96. I lived about a 5 minute walk from one of the gates, could see Namsan tower from my balcony at night. Nice memories.

  12. I love this video! If you asked me to describe most of the stuff I ate in Korea it would be the same. We have this right here, and we have that. Lol. It's all delicious, just don't ask me to name it!
