I am sailing on Diamond Princess and enjoying a PERFECT sea day in Japan on my first-ever Princess cruise! I embarked on a 7-day cruise to Japan and South Korea on Diamond Princess, departing from Yokohama, Japan. I enjoy breakfast and lunch in the International Dining Room, show you the Skywalker’s Night Club, enjoy a Princess Cruises Orientation, culture talks on Aburatsu, and enjoy the first stage production show of the cruise, Bravo. I also try my luck at Princess Prizes, part of my Princess Premier package. Join me as I walk all around Diamond Princess and show you all this beautiful Princess Cruise ship has to offer!

For help booking your next trip with my official travel partner: http://travelwithzach.com/

This Princess Cruise on Diamond Princess will take me to Aburatsu (Miyazaki), Japan; Busan, South Korea; and Nagasaki, Japan. This was my first time ever in Japan and my first time on Princess Cruises.

The Diamond Princess is part of the Gem class of cruise ships for Princess Cruises. Diamond Princess debuted in 2004 and was built by Mitsubishi in Nagasaki, Japan. Diamond Princess features several specialty dining venues, including Kai Sushi, Sterling Steakhouse, and Sabatini’s Italian.

  1. Great video Zach. I'm extremely interested in this series as Sapphire Princess to Alaska is my next cruise. I've been on Independence of the Seas and NCL Prima as my only other two cruises. So, without much basis for comparison, getting your take on your first Princess cruise is enlightening. Considering you're a huge Celebrity cruise line fan I'd be curious at the end how Princess measures up. Thanks 👍

  2. We got daily canapés for booking club class. We don’t have elite status, so unless they changed the policy you can also get a lot of perks for booking club class.

  3. Disappointed didn't get to see the Skywalker night club as promise or any of the restaurants foods.

  4. I'm glad you're trying the premiun lines now (premium as defined by the official cruise industry standards – Princess, Celebrity, and Holland America). They have such a better product (and service) to the mainstream lines and for not much more money (sometimes even less).

  5. Totally love, your honesty and love that you are enjoying princess… We have never sailed on princess yet… But you are making it very enticing🚢

  6. Great video. I’ve heard that a lot of the passengers on Diamond Princess are Japanese. Did you find this to be the case?

  7. All beds are like that on Princess…i love the bed! Yes it is luck of the draw, i had Premiere but sadly won nothing😢 I think with the TV you needed to be closer and it will not do that. Thanks for today’s video…I love Princess🚢😊

  8. I am loving these vlogs, we are doing our first Princes cruise next year in March, Singapore/Tokyo so watching your vlogs is very interesting and informative……thank you x

  9. Zach – so happy that you are loving the bed / linens in your mini-suite! I honestly don’t know why ALL cruise lines don’t use the same mattresses/linens as Princess – absolute perfection!
Hope that you keep having a GREAT time!!!

  10. I'm glad you are enjoying Princess. We have our first Princess Cruise booked in 13 days. What really sold us on Princess was how much is included in the Premier package. In comparison to other lines, the packages are unmatched. We will see if it lives up to the expectations for us.

    Thank you Zach!

  11. I know that this ship is primarily for the Asian market, so most of the passengers will be Asian – did you find enough people to talk to? Or to listen to, even? (you can get a lot from listening in on other people's conversations) A lot of the enjoyment on a cruise comes from interacting with other passengers. As you're a solo traveller, I wonder if it felt a bit limiting. Or maybe it felt no different. Anyway, another video I thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks.
