Hello! Yes, we are in Bandung! We actually got to Bandung and then ticket sales for the brand new HSR Whoosh Bullet Train opened on the KCIC app so we jumped on the opportunity to test it out!

This train is incredible, it cuts down the transit time of around 4 hours with transport down to less than 1 hour, reaching speeds of 350km/h!!

The tickets are currently on sale for 150k with a normal price of 300k for premium economy class, hopefully, they work out a system for people who will be using this service often or some sort of multi-trip card to make the cost cheaper.

We booked our tickets through the KCIC Whoosh app, it was incredibly simple and showed us available seats, plus you don’t need to worry about printing tickets, etc.
