I absolutely love Disneyland. 1st time was april of this year, in 2023. Stayed there for a week. Fell in love with DL just as much almost as Disneyworld! Absolutely going again. Absolutely loved the CARS dark ride! Also, I loved the different signature restaurants ( i did all of the major ones).
Disneyland has the but churros by far 😋
It's great to see my HOME park represented, love this!
Oh my gosh, can you imagine having Robin Williams as your Jungle Cruise Skipper?
The adventure suites are so amazing! They need them in more Disney parks it’s so fun for kids! (And adults)
Being able to pre pay for food at the festivals is honestly a lifesaver, Disney world need to do this too!
I'll be there in a month for the Christmas celebrations
Hi guys! amazing video! my favorite disneyland detail is probably the bakery in san fransokyo square!
(the Sourbread mac n cheese is so good!)
two things though where you may have to review your information regarding things being unique to disneyland…
The diorama with dinosaurs and a walkthrough for Sleeping Beauty Castle are in Paris as well the difference though is that they also have a dragon in Paris.
I’m jealous of a few things, but Walt Disney World will always be home ❤️ 🐭 🏰
My introduction was World, but when I finally made it to Land, I feel so hard in love–my favorite's (Toad, Submarines (but 20,000 Leagues better than Nemo) and new favorites–Indi & Car Land.
We will be there in 2 weeks. Just a day though , so one lonnnng day ! Lol
One of my Disneyland Core Memories was riding Mr. Toad's with my (then) Tween daughter. It was at night, in February. She wears glasses… Can you "see" where this is going? Yeah… we left "the bad place" and she says to me, "Mom. I can't see." I looked at her & her glasses were completely fogged up. We were laughing so much. <3
I find that being the one theme park Walt had a hand in creating is the most subtly great exclusive thing. Keeping that in mind gives the park a very classic, nostalgic vibe compared to the other parks.
I'm REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO GOING TO DISNEYLAND IN THE FUTURE
I've been to DL 3 times. Twice because I had a wedding in CA and once to cheer my son on in a race. I love that it is Walt's park. I didn't like how narrow the walkways are and how fast it get's crowded. I would definitely go back if I were in CA again. WDW still has my heart.
And Mainstreet at DLand has much more Halloween and Christmas decor with pumpkins/lights on the buildings and in all of the windows!
AJ…I am 65 years old…I have been going to Disneyland for 61 years ( I even worked there). There are too many things I love about it, but the main thing I love is that Walt ac walked around in the park…daily. He would grab a bite on Main Street, then go smoke his cigar at the Golden Horseshoe. He would then walk around Frontierland, Adventureland, Tomorrowland and end up in Fantasyland, his favorite. He would sometimes even go on the attractions. I have met and spoke with Marty Sklar, one of the Disney geniuses. He is a great guy. Yes, sadly, he and Walt are in Heaven, but their Magic lives on. Thank you so much AJ! FYI…San Fransokyo is a goofy name!
AJ do you need a ride radiator Springs with my wife. She never loses.😎🤣 Thanks for another fun video.
The Materhorn Bobsleds, The Alice In Wonderland Dark Ride and Snow White's Enchanted Wish are what I'm looking forward to doing when we visit Disneyland!
I go to Disneyland pretty frequently and love seeing it dressed up for Christmas. I went to WDW last year in November and was so disappointed to find out their Haunted Mansion doesn't get the special Christmas overlay! It felt so weird 🙁
My (and my daughter's) favorite part of Disneyland is the Toontown area….my daughter was bummed when they got rid of it in Magic Kingdom.
Only been once, but what struck me (about Disneyland Park) was that when you first entered, it was very much like Magic Kingdom, but the farther you went into the park, the more different it became. This was actually kind of creepy…. but of course this could only be blamed on Magic Kingdom as Disneyland was built first.
No one talks about Pixie Hallow and the wonderfully themed path that use to have its own water show after dark. It’s one of my favorite places in the park. And also, right across the way is the wishing well with magical features and wonderful photo opps. These places are Disney at its best.
The bakery was Boo-Deens.
Mint Juleps & Beignets, Bacon Wrapped Asparagus, and most importantly NICE WEATHER
Croque Monsiuer.
At 27:30, it’s stegasourus and allosaurus. They are from the Jurassic period. T-Rex is from the Cretaceous period.
Haunted Mansion in Disney World deserves Haunted Mansion Holiday
I love going over to Avenger's Campus and seeing how many Avengers I can find. We walk past it several times a day because different characters come out.
First items on a Disneyland list are DCA. So are we to assume they will be considered a single entity always?
i love all the parks, but disneyland proper is my fav. because it's walt's park, compact and historic. 😃
Beautiful! Love Disneyland!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉
Every time I leave Disneyland Park I make sure to blow a kiss at Walt's apartment and say "Thanks, Walt!" And every time I see the concept art for the Avengers ride I squeal when I see Daredevil!
Hurray for a Disneyland DFB Guide video!!
I've been to California, just once in my 68 years, and that was to San Francisco, and Monterey. I was born in Oct. of 1955, the same year that Disney Land was born! I always wanted to go to Disney Land, but living in NJ, we were thrilled when WDW opened!! I have been there 4 times, even in 1972. It is amazing!! But I still would love to go to the OG!!
you did not mention the cats who live in Disneyland
Who is ‘Red’? It’s the 2 3 1 9 cone all over again
Snow White's "I'm Wishing" Wishing Well. Ever since I can remember, Snow White's voice would start to come out of the Well when you dropped a coin in it. The Animatronics at the Original Tiki Hut is my upmost favorite in the world for it is original to what Disney open up with on "World Of Color" program.
I was a lifelong Disney World goer and went to Disneyland for the first time last year. I was surprised how small everything was! The queues are quite tight, the turnstiles very narrow, and it felt like seats throughout the park were significantly smaller. There was also some sort of issue with the septic system near Haunted Mansion and that whole area smelt like open sewage, yuck! Pirates of the Caribbean completely blew my mind, though, it was an absolute joy to get to see in person. Next time I have to make time to see DCA, too
Are the candy canes vegan?
I definitely like the vibes of Disney land more than Disney world. There’s just something about it
Disneyland will always be my favorite. I grew up going there all the time so yeah no other park can recreate the charm. If the Disney Parks all over the world are a gold crown, then Disneyland is the most precious crown jewel that by itself elevates the whole thing. But hey I’m also biased haha.
I love knowing that Steve Martin, Kevin Costner, Robin Williams, Michelle Pfiffer all worked at Disney before they made it.
My favourite part is the Mountie in Its a small world because we are Canadian. It is not in the one in Florida 😢
I love cars land ❤
Love the Brian Reagan reference (I call this one a rooty tooty point and shooty! And this is a whammy kablammy)
I would have paid good money to hear Robin Williams as a Jungle Cruise skipper back in the day! I'm sure that was a treat!
I've only been to Disneyland and California Adventure once and I really enjoyed it. I had assumed the "repeat" rides were the same thing at Disneyland and Disney World, I discovered that was not the case. So, I did ALL the rides and having rides that are unique to Disneyland was the icing on the cake! I'd love to visit these parks again!
These people mistook Minnie for Mickey. NEVER FORGET!
