🥩 THE WAGYU BAR: https://www.instagram.com/thewagyubar

In case you haven’t noticed, I am a huge foodie. I love all types of food. And even though I love vegetarian dishes, there’s something really amazing about high-quality meat. It’s something my dad and I have in common! Come along with us as my dad and I enjoy some high-quality wagyu beef in our hometown of Miami!

My dad and I kicked off our morning at The Wagyu Bar, a casual local steakhouse that focuses on the best-quality wagyu beef. We’d also check out their boutique butcher shop, Meat n’ Bone!

We met with Andres from The Wagyu Bar, who invited us into Meat n’ Bone. They sell handmade cutting and serving boards, charcoal, sauces, wood, meats, wine, beer, sake, knives, seasonings, hats, cooking utensils, and rubs! They make it all in-house!

They also have charts that show you the qualities of different cuts of meat! They have so many different varieties, from A5 Prime Rib to A9 Tomahawk from Australia! You can buy all the equipment you need for a barbecue there!

Then, we headed down Coral Way to The Wagyu Bar, which has two beautiful dining areas. It’s very cozy. There’s also a mini terrace!

In the kitchen, we watched them make nigiri, which is essentially steak sushi. They also cooked an A5 Denver, and A5 bites, which are soft, fried sirloin fritters. We’d also get a mix of sausages.

Finally, it was time to eat! We had four things to try. We first jumped on the nigiri, which I loved. The A5 wagyu contained sticky rice inside and was torched on the outside. I loved it with the mayo sauce.

Meanwhile, the A5 bites were lightly battered and fried. I loved the creamy sauce with it and didn’t feel overly meaty! I loved how filling and flavorful they were! Then, we followed that with some Grillmaster’s Red Ale.

The Devner, which is the shoulder, has the shape of sirloin, the flavor of a short rib, and the marbling of a ribeye. It was cooked medium rare and was salty, fatty, and juicy. We both loved how balanced it was! It’s one of my favorite cuts of meat!

Next was the sausage platter, which contained a Spanish sausage called chistorra, which was great. We ate it with some bread and chimichurri. I loved the contrast between the sausages, chimichurri, and bread.

The chorizo-like sausages were spicy, while the Argentine sausage was really great as well! I’m not usually a chimichurri fan, but I love it with sausage. It was so good!

We finished up with the Cookie Skillet, which is a chocolate chip cookie in a skillet topped with vanilla ice cream and sauces. The cookie was soft with nice chocolate chips. I’m not big on sweets, but this was outstanding! What a great way to end our meal!
