You don’t have to look both ways while viewing the beauty from the train just the direction you’re traveling.
Twice you stuck your head out looking at what you were passing, very dangerous.
If you need to extend you arms or head outside the car – do it while looking at what is coming your way.
Alaska is the only state I haven't been to!

Love to ride on a train. There is a train in Sault Ste. Marie in Canada called Algoma that leaves for the Canyon up North. Beautiful train ride in the fall looks like a color carpet. Take care.

Your Thumbnail has it right, Train Ride Through Alaska. NOT, Train Ride Across Alaska. There are NO trains that go across Alaska, not even close. Train Service in Alaska is limited to Fairbanks to Anchorage and stops in between, Anchorage to Whittier, and Anchorage to Seward. That is it!
