I requested Yamanashi Prefecture on my JET application so I wanted to come and see what it’s actually like. First stop on my Yamanashi trip was Fuji Five Lakes.

I love mountains so seeing Fuji was one of those things I needed to do (I’ll hopefully climb in my next trip to the area). I managed to see him just before the weather turned bad. I made it to all 5 lakes and even the ponds that used to be a 6th lake.

Despite the bad weather, I really enjoyed my time around Fuji Five Lakes and if I lived closer, I would take SO many trips here. It’s a really nice area.

Much love and happy travels
