A couple of Qs: How did you order your steak to be cooked, e.g., medium rare ("al punto" or "en su punto")? Per how you ordered, did the steak reflect that? Also, how far ahead did you make your reservation (via website, email or phone call)? Thanks for any information. I've got relatives in Pau, France — not so far away — and a steak at Casa Julian seems an overnight dream dinner within possibility.

  4. We just recently went and had pretty much the meal you had. It was truly amazing. Definitely the best steak we’ve had. The leeks were a revelation.
