  2. Another fantastic video and commentary, James! Those winds and waves were incredible. I dread to think what it would have been like in the eyewall after seeing what you experienced 100s of miles away from it 😳. Thanks for being one of the very few that are brave enough to document these storms and share them with the rest of the world!

  3. One thing I can definitely say since I have been watching your Storm chasing videos all of your video footage is on point and that says a lot about your experience for chasing typhoons.

  4. You said it knocked out power to a quarter of the island; it was far greater than a quarter of the island without power – many of which went for upwards for more than a week/closer to two. You also didn’t mention how it swung back and hit a second time as a lesser storm only two days later.

  5. Typhoon KHANUN's impacts on Okinawa were really such a surprise, definitely a lot more wind than you'd normally expect from the CPA to the island this one had! Your shots are beautiful as always, and this was truly an awesome intercept!
