高島岬には、移築された鰊御殿、そして日和山灯台があります。
Cape Takashima is home to the relocated Nishin Goten （Herring Mansion） and Hiyoriyama Lighthouse.
ここは、冬の間、トドが集まるので、トド岩と呼ばれています。
It is called Todo Iwa (Steller’s sea lion rock) because sea lions gather here during the winter.
オタモイ海岸
Otamoi Coastline
オタモイ海岸の断崖絶壁に、その昔、「オタモイ遊園地」がありました。
On a bluff on the Otamoi coast, there used to be the “Otamoi Amusement Park”.
その中核施設、高級料亭「龍宮閣」は、その断崖絶壁に建てられていました。
The core facility, a luxury ryotei restaurant called Ryugu-kaku, was built on the precipice of the cliff.
さらに、ツルかけ岩に向かいます。
Further on, head for Tsurukake-iwa.
形が鍋釜の「ツル」に似ているところから「ツルかけ岩」と呼ばれたとの事。
It is said that it was called “Tsurukake-iwa” (Tsurukake Rock) because its shape resembles the “tsuru” (vine) of a potter’s kettle.
窓岩 Mado-iwa (Window Rock) ～窓岩の向こうは、季節や時間によって風景が変わります。
Beyond the window rock, the scenery changes with the seasons and time.
いよいよ、青の洞窟の入口です。
Finally, the entrance to the Blue Cave.
