We went to Sawara Festival in Chiba! It is known for the multiple giant Dashi that is paraded around a historical town all afternoon and into the evening. It is beautiful to see them light up at night. It was super hot so we mostly ate Kakigori (shaved ice.) We tell a little bit of the history of this festival that we learned. We really enjoyed the lights, the koi fish float and the music!
