In this vlog, we visited the stronghold of Lord Oda Nobunaga. Gifu Castle is known to aid Nobunaga in his rise to power. The castle has an overarching view of the entire Central Japan, which is Nagano today, hence allowing Nobunaga to see his enemies coming from afar and make strategic decisions.
Gifu City also has Lord Nobunaga’s statue right at its central train station.
