‘Now I am become death, the Destroyer of Worlds’ is a wrong interpretation of Gita! Nagasaki atom bombing used Plutonium Device ‘Fat Man’, while ‘Little Boy’ gun-type uranium device was used in Hiroshima atomic bombing. The first one was dropped by Enola Gay Boeing B-29, while the second one was a device named Fat Man dropped by Bockscar. Trinity test used Plutonium explosive, though both are nuclear chain reaction. Oppenheimer didn’t quote anything from ancient Hindu scripture Gita immediately after Trinity Test and when he quoted as part of an NBC broadcast, Oppenheimer misquoted Gita. He is also not the real ‘father of atomic bomb,’ Enrico Fermi is! Fermi was the creator of world’s first nuclear reactor. I have revealed the reality of Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombing in this video along with exploring childhood of J. Robert Oppenheimer. Also, why Christopher Nolan’s biopic Oppenheimer has prompted outrage among the Hindu right wing in India? Did Oppenheimer really poison Patrick Blackett’s apple in Cambridge University?

Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer revealed the truth, only partially. It doesn’t show us the horrifying aftermath of the attacks on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. This video here will reveal the reality of atomic bombing on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945 with blow-by-blow account along with the aftermath of the atomic bombs. ‘Oppenheimer’ doesn’t really depict Atomic Bomb’s consequences. Based on Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin’s 2006 Pulitzer Prize-winning biography about the theoretical physicist, American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer, Nolan’s three-hour epic opens with a quote about the Greek god being eternally punished for stealing fire from the gods to bring light to humanity. This film follows Julius Robert Oppenheimer (played by Irish actor Cillian Murphy) as he studies and teaches quantum mechanics and theoretical physics at various prestigious U.S. and European universities. Manhattan project, Trinity Test were the main plots along with Oppenheimer’s political inclinations.

After the bombing of Hiroshima on August 6, workers on Tinian island labored intensely to put the finishing touches on the Fat Man bomb and prepare it for use. This was a plutonium implosion device of far greater complexity than the Little Boy bomb used at Hiroshima, which used uranium-235 in a fairly conventional explosive mechanism. The scientists and ordnance experts at Los Alamos had agonized for years over how to use plutonium in an atomic weapon, and Fat Man was the result.

As the specter of nuclear war rears its ugly head once again, seventy-eight years later, we’re all in dire need of a reminder of the threat posed by Oppenheimer’s invention. Imagine if Nolan had used his finely honed cinematic skill to show us the horrors of nuclear war, up close and personal. That would have provided apocalyptic food for thought, from the Kremlin to the White House, where Oppenheimer once lamented to President Truman that he had “blood on my hands.” Veteran screenwriter and director Paul Schrader has pronounced it “the best, most important film of this century . . . . If you see one film in cinemas this year it should be Oppenheimer . . . this one blows the door off the hinges.” It’s too bad that Christopher Nolan didn’t go for broke and blow the roof off, too. And this is my attempt to blow off the roof.

This is my American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J Robert Oppenheimer

  1. I am spellbound. This is so chilling, accurate and deep. The research and your insights are next level. You really should get much more subscribers. I have shared with those who will understand this. But I really wish YouTube creates more outreach for independent quality work instead of mindless content traffic.

  2. Priceless! You may ruffle some feather with this, but your effort and research are spectacular. I literally felt anxiety while watching some moments, as if happening right now! That itself says what a great creator you are.

  3. At per with any Netflix or BBC documentary! This is created in such a vast scale and such complex concepts were presented with sheer brilliance. Not everyone's cup of tea….this is ultimate take on the whole matter.

  4. Stunning, thought-provoking, and poetic. I agree with another comment that this can compete with any big-scale documentary. Following from the beginning but unbelievable how far you came in a short span with YouTube. You will direct a movie someday, it's in your blood. I don't have much understanding of Physics, Psychology, or Philosophy, so no comment there; but I can tell that your dad and tutor did a great job with the foundation. However, your creative insights are very unique, very 'you.'

  5. Oh my my! Imagine this is only YouTube, not a major Hollywood production where they got tremendous resources, cast, budget. Yet this stands out with brilliant research, script, and creator's skill! Whether one agrees or not at all contentious subjects, it doesn't matter. This is truly great work.

  6. I am a physics student and loved your content, specially how you explained Apple poisoning with Schrödinger thought experiment. That’s soooo cool and opened a new way of thinking for me. Also, loved the fact that you have sensibility to not ask once for likes, subs, comments in this topic, yet I think most folks will do so automatically after watching this video.

  7. I am probably the only one here who didn’t watch the cinema, but this made me immensely curious about it now. This is a riveting account of the gruesome event, ably assisted by superlative presentation and proof. Your detailing is as usual amazing, specially the interpretation of Gita has been on point and funny too, in the context of right wing controversy. You keep on raising the bar and we enjoy.
