These buildings are at the Ninomiya family’s estate in Seiro village, Niigata in Japan. They are part of a fantastic Japanese garden a that is only opened to the public once a year for just four weeks. I was lucky to go there on a lovely sunny day. The sprawling property has exceptional traditional Japanese buildings that overlook a beautiful lagoon.
