  1. Back in the day, my friend used to make Polish cabbage rolls “golumpki” YUM!

    So good!

Thank you for sharing a little slice of life, sharing food made with love is an expression of love, regardless of time place or culture

  2. Hey David good to see you and the family out and about enjoying some authentic German food. I was stationed in Germany for 8 years U.S. Army and my family and I enjoyed it alot. Anyways stay safe out there and have a blessed day. Aloha from Kansas

  3. I love how the manager took the time to explain all the various delicious foods that were part of this wonderful buffet. I am quite familiar with all of them as I have several German restaurants and a butcher's shop near where I lived in Philadelphia. If I ever Houston, I am going to this amazing place.

  4. David I see you are getting things together again. I did miss you and your family. I never had this food. I don't think I would like it. That beer much really be good to you. Nothing but love for you all.
    🥰🥰🥰

  5. Such a nice video David! My dad and I just finished watching it, we always enjoy seeing your new uploads. We couldn’t help but see if you had any merch because of the “AKA Vamonos” shirt you wore! 😆

  6. I used to work there in the 80's
I was the captain of the"wine sellar", is the little private room at the end, is it still there?.

  7. Terrific find, fresh-looking and delicious 😂😂 must go for authentic German food in Houston🎉🎉

  8. Nice to see Rudy Lechner's getting some love – when I was growing up, my dad liked to go there every Easter Sunday. Every single year, our big family would pile in the station wagon and head out there. King's Bierhaus is okay, but it is too hot for me, too noisy, and a little bit too pricey for me, Lechner's is Much better, IMO.

  9. It was intresting you can vidit other countrys buffe like polish and so on Thank You

  10. nice didn't knew this existed but at 3:40 lol you kept saying Okay XD lol XD LOL! sounded like an NPC 🙂 none the less great video!

  11. Very nicely done video!! Thanks for coming, David! We hope to see you and your family there again soon! I'm glad you enjoyed the musical handsaw! 🙂

  12. Not a bad deal for basic German cooking. $19 is a good price just for the wienerschnitzer if it's really veal cutlet!

  13. Hi David from Japan. We are here to celebrate my daughter’s going to College for the next two weeks. I saw a Tim Lee’s video on Japan buffet, but we are not going to do that. Tim recommended other great places to eat and we are so ready for it. We are in Tokyo now, next Osaka, then Kyoto and back to Tokyo to fly home.

  14. 🌺 Mahalo David. Can’t wait to try this restaurant & the awesome vibe it gives off. A Hui Hou… Till we meet again!

  15. I like to be able to serve myself , don’t like how they serve it . Ruins the buffet for me

  16. i"m from the Netherlands, Holland but if i was living close I would be there every wednesday! Everything looks realy great. And you go to jail if you make schnitzel with the wrong kind of meat! How amazing these people!

  17. David, that was an excellent video. Thanks for sharing your experiences with German and Austrian cuisine. I lived and worked (was stationed there with the USAF) in Bavaria in the early 1990's and really miss the food. That cheese spread you were tasting is called 'Obatzda' in Bavaria and is typically eaten in with bread or pretzels in the beer gardens. I didn't see any 'spaetzle' offered in the buffet. That's also served as 'Beilage' or side dish accompaniment to your Schnitzel entree or the different Wursts you tasted. Love your content. Brand new subscriber here. Looking forward to seeing more of your vlogs. Enjoy your weekend.

  18. Miss you with your videos and reviews of the restaurant in Texas glad you have new places and content you and Tim lee really open my eyes to different nationality around the world congrats on yourvideos miss you 2 alot, thank you for ur content .

  19. Been watching your videos alot and love your channel. What does AKA vamanos mean?

  20. For $19 for a limited selection,I would have expected, that the Schnitzel would have been Veal not Pork. Pork is much less expensive. I think $14 would be more like it.
