I just traveled to a tourist city in the province of West Sumatra, Indonesia. One of the most well-known tourist attractions here is the former Japanese tunnel from the history of Indonesia’s independence. Japanese tunnel is located right in the center of Bukittinggi city, in a panoramic tourist attraction, where this location is very close to the landmarks of this city that is the “Jam Gadang” or we can get to know a big clock. To go into this Japanese tunnel we have to go down quite a number of steps, around 10-15 meters deep. This place was built around 1942 by Japanese soldiers with tunnels reaching 1200 meters long and 2 meters wide, estimated at tens to hundreds of thousands of workers digging this tunnel. It’s time for you to try visiting here so your vacation will be more exciting!
