A bit of a windy day but nonetheless we headed from Otaru over to Yoichi for the 1:30 reservations I made for the Nikka Whiskey Distillery. Understandably they do not allow filming during the tour; so Cameron took some footage of the entrance area. The actual tour was quite interesting, seeing the furnaces heating up the whiskey with a man continually monitoring the coal input. There was a bit of taste tasting at the end and we all bought various goods from the gift shop. Kevin buying the most out of all us as it was his wish to come here in the first place, as he loves whiskey.
