Test riding Japan’s MOST SCENIC route – JR Gono Line to Aomori | Japan Travel | GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP

One of Japan’s most scenic train routes to Aomori Prefecture is by the JR Gono Line that services the Shirakami Sanchi Ranges from Noshiro City, Akita Prefecture.

The train often slows down in many areas of this Site in order to give the passengers an opportunity to take a few photos and admire the open vastness that is the Sea of Japan.

When I looked at it, the most prominent thing that caught my eye was the sun breaking through the clouds.

People use this route to travel to the Aoike and the Jyuni station where you are able to view the 12 lakes of Aomori Prefecture.

Holders of the JR line are able to access this inclusive of the cost of the pass.

If you want to drive, you are able to take advantage of the many stops in the area that would help relax and appreciate more of the journey that you are on, especially in the land of the rising sun.
