You're right, Pat's channel has such high quality content and you'd expect he would have way more subs
Regarding content. Been going to Thailand for many years and watch all the Thai YT videos.
I’ve met many interesting Thais and heard some great stories. None of the present YTubers talk or interview Thais. It’s always one expat talking to another expat.
For future content, talk to locals.
Pat's video are really well researched and put together. Great interview, be good to see how that tv series develops.
I'm fan of Bankok Pat videos. Pat has such a good knowledge of Bangkok and the history of this amazing city. He covers places many tourists would never go to and his brilliant videos are well worth watching. Great stuff! 👍
Thanks for the intro to Pat. I look forward to watching his videos. Hope he doesn't run out of content.
pat is a very nice chap,i subbed to him when he only had 20/30 subs due to him gate crashing bangkok travels live stream(what ever happened to him)pat now does some great vlogs for the thaiger……good interview peter
I think the term is ‘salacious’ rather than ‘sleazy’.
Isn’t it weird that you get called a monger, sexpest, ladyboy lover etc etc etc I have the same but the one thing I’ve noticed is I’m being called all these things by people who HAVE NOT been to Thailand !!
Another great interview Peter
Great vid guys, along with eddie and trevor my favourite youtubers. Would love to have a beer with you guys to discuss all things Krungthep
Peter this has been your best
It’s a different class .than talking to utube bar renters
Bangkok Pat is a real pro, great vids, makes so called ‘pros’ like those tools at ‘the Thaiger’ look like, well, tools😂 not forgetting your great vids Peter
Great video Peter I'll have to look up Pat's Channel, keep up the good work and keep safe.
It's great to see a variety of youtubers.. Pat is great I enjoy his channel.. I think all Youtubers do different things and that's what attracts their audience.. You have the guys who like just girls and bars and thats what they like to see.. guys whom enjoy seeing food and rental videos and walk through condos.. the younger generation whom enjoy the younger followers.. The UK followers who enjoy their Youtubers from The UK as with the Australian… the variety is good.. a lot more girls doing it too as it is easier for them to get the followers.. some are a notch above the rest in the way they present the video.
Pete you are my favourite from The UK as you cover many different things.. not just the same same soi street and bars and area and I'm sure that when you do do more videos from Thailand you will continue with this and not stick to the one same walkabout down the same soi… variety is the spice of life and Thailand sure does have the variety so keep on covering and showing
I love Pat's channel. I hope to book him for a tour one day so I can meet him in person.
Pat is Awesome!
You kept looking to your right Peter, was there a Monitor lizard lurking?👀
Peter, looks like you’ve drank 10 coffees before this!! Bit twitchy! Lol! Great interview
Peter really enjoyed your interview with Pat. He does make well researched videos that deserve recognition. Good to hear about his background as well. Just wondering why you framed this video with both of you in the shadows? Nice location but would have been better with more even light IMO. Sorry for being pedantic.
Hey Peter, you remind me of Brendan Kavanagh, don't know if you've seen his channel? Same manerisms. Great show BTW, as always
Love BP’s work with the cat charity.
Bkk Pat offers a unique historical take on things. Great guy.
Beautiful video as always Peter! Do you think 5th day PCR might be dropped by summer ? Thank you mate 🙏🏻
Stumbled upon Bangkok Pat about a year ago.
I never miss one of his videos.

2 of 3 favourite Thailand vloggers 👌👌👌 great vlog Peter , Pats channel is so great your right he’s found his own niche and his Knowledge is excellent his research really shows in his vlogs 👌👌👌
If you go to kanchanaburi you can visit the old Thai man's home who gave the American and English government, information about the Japanese.
Interesting he is a hero.
hi peter to pick up on a point raised in the video , i follow several thai vloggers and have written to all of them , none seem to want to cover renting property or living in areas where there are no farangs , they all seem to cover the farang ghettos , i can understand blokes wantng to live with other uk nationals etc but what about antisocial loners like me , i dont want to be lumped in with every one else , and would seek out houses flats etc in areas with no farangs , its no hardship living like this ive done it before , ok you get stared at a bit more but thats it , it would make an interesting niche video , some thing no one was expecting , all the best from harborough
I am a subscriber of Bangkok Pat and you are not exaggerating saying that it is a great channel. I really enjoy his documentaries. I always feel like I am watching a BBC documentary. Yep well researched and well presented.
Good time to use the pool don't seem busy and the cold rain fell nice while swimming .enjoy your trip back home
Bangkok Pats videos are really informative and professionally done, cheers Peter 😎🙏🇨🇷
Thanks Peter for this interview. Bangkok Pat does an excellent job as a Bangkok historian. I wonder what he will do when he finishes his history lessons?

I love how your content is informative & beneficial on many levels not just entertaining only so keep it up much& love Thailand bound👌💪⚘⚘
Just subscribed to bangkok Pat's channel because of your recommendation. You're 100% correct about his channel being top notch, yet I've never heard of it before you're interview.
Did he bugger you ?
Pat has one of the best channels out of Thailand about Bangkok and its history. Always wanted to see him interviewed. I was always curious what Asian nationality he was I would have never guessed Thai. I worked as a public radio DJ and Operations Director for many years in the states. I think foreigners who have any sort of accent speaking Thai might have a more difficult time being understood. Whenever I have a cold or having to wear a mask can be misunderstood. Having just returned after nearly two years I have noticed I have forgotten some words but still can understand ok. Very nice getting to know Pat's background really a cool guy.
I could not agree with you more about what I call the foreigner slums and many of the expats who live in them. Personally, I avoid these places. Pattaya, Phuket, Koh Samui, Chaing Mai, Udon Thani etc.
Pat's videos are well made and he speaks well, I discovered his channel today so I've got a lot to catch up on.
Peter I’m Aussie and I can’t understand that scottsman Jeff bridges so thia is easy for me
I watched a couple of these videos, having come accross them rather accidentally, I have travelled a lot, and lived in Australia for a lengthy period. I have not visited Thailand since 1968/9, as a change from Singapore, where my Mother lived while my Father was on a Tanker taking high octane fuel (aka Avgas), to Saigon. Meanwhile I was at boarding School in Kent. (I think during my upper Sixth year). My younger brother died in Thailand about four years ago. He’d been living there for a number of years and married to a Thai The whole issue is rather mysterious. I thought I might learn something about Thailand – and they have helped. However they all seem to be about middle-aged and older men I can’t say that any of what I have seen and heard. has not tempted me to leave my pleasant rural village though. I am very committed to my own community and the inland waterways here to travell a long distance, when I feel that I have seen enough of the Far East already. How on earth do those boats get away with travelling as fast or almost, as a bus would. How long are those narrow canals going to cope with it? Anyway, I hope travelled about 2,500 miles of inland waterways in England – but certainly not anywhere near that speed -even on the rivers Trent, Soar or th7 Thames!
Can you get me Apples Taxi 🚕? I will be going to Thailand for 2 months.. I’ve been there many times. I always have trouble with taxi.. I want a trusted driver. I pay well. I am also a creator.. I have 32 YouTube’s with partners.
I already had the idea that you two should meet up and talk … happy that you did so and that I found the video. Bangkok Pat videos are so well made , he is a real geography teacher – happy for him that he found a very nice Thai girlfriend now.
Luck and Happy new year to both of you. Your good english helps me to improove my vocabularies. Cheers, Aki from Berlin , Germany
Hope Bangkok Pat is an Arsenal fan 🙏 😀
Hey Pay thx for all the info. Can you do a video on Tennis courts around the city? Where does one go if they are the athletic type? Thx
i spent 100 days in pathum thani. i wish i can retire there but its impossible being a slav
Hi Peter, do you know of any Thai language courses that one can access on the internet that are level 2 and above ? The Pimsleur Thai only goes up to level 1.
