We started our Bacolod food tour with the famous Filipino food, half moon cakes, with some local coffee to wash it down. Known as the sugar capital of the Philippines, we continued our Bacolod food tour tasting a local favourite, chocolate cake from Felicia’s!

Another must eat on a Bacolod food tour is KBL. This sour soup made with the local batuan fruit was very unique and is a famous Filipino street food in Bacolod, Philippines.

We finished off our Bacolod food tour with none other than the original chicken inasal. There are many places to try chicken inasal in Bacolod (the birthplace of chicken inasal), and we went to a local favourite. The original chicken inasal was grilled to perfection, extremely tasty and delicious, full of flavour. We can see why the original chicken inasal in Bacolod is a must try on any Bacolod food tour.

  3. Actually with the KBL usually we don't eat it. It's just there to get rid of the unpleasant taste of the pork.

    when you still have time here in the ph try to visit bicol region (luzon), there is a lot of filipino dish you can find in that area.
