Totally agree!
Can’t argue with anything you listed. Loved the subtle shot at some RV Ytube channels, so true.
I bought a brand new Forest River Riverstone Legacy, MSRP $150,000 we paid $96,000. I discussed pre-delivery inspection with the dealer and they assured me they when through it completely. When it arrived one of the tail lights didn’t work, return air vent was cover busted, the air vents were full of trash, Steele shavings everywhere, flooding was very dirty piles of dirt in every corner. I could list many more but it won’t change a thing. My experience has been the manufacturer doesn’t do any quality inspections and neither does the seller. Never again will I buy a new RV! Made in America right! Good video guys
Most RV manufactures have many levels of quality parts they use for each level of their product. Example Grand Design bottom level is the Imagine, next is Reflection then there top is Solitude & Momentum. As you go up in model levels the products usually are better quality. Being all RV’s are hand built by people there will always be differences and errors will happen. Can’t avoid it. Some people could be sick or upset at work so they don’t do as good as they could. As for safety materials used, I do believe they should always use the best even if it cost more. Your right to point out all that you did, but I felt it also necessary to understand the product your buying. Do your research before spending tens of thousands of your hard earned money .
Certified for “full time living” is another!
We have been studying & following a few youtube couples for the last 3 years in preparation for our full-time RV life hopefully soon. If I'm being honest, most of these couples have a Grand Design, ALL of them have put out videos of all the defects, especially on schintekk slides that Grand Design use & bad mattresses GD use.
I'm noticing a pattern. I'm starting to think that couples are buying GD for their great "customer service " & their big "rallies" to be a part of that community rather than the overall quality of a RV.
So, in a way, I was kinda surprised that you guys went with GD. No disrespect, I'm following you guys for your bluntness
BTW, that "couple " with the free custom GD, they got so fake,..I had no choice but to unsuscribe from them & unsuscribe to that fake PT new England couple as well. I'm definitely NOT learning anything from them.
I have been listening to RV techs on their thoughts on Brinkley, it's been positive as far as QUALITY!
The one thing I've learned, I want to buy my "last" RV first & not have to deal with all the headaches my 1st year. Thanks for keeping your channel real.

Bought a articfox canper. Enjoyed the customer service northwood has done. Had to get a problem fixed during covid. The got back with me quickly and sent parts to me for dealer to install. Have been impressed with the unit.
My Winnebago trailer is in the shop going on week 4 every time we go camping something new breaks! To top it off AC freezes up and they claim it works for them!
We bought a new one in 2015 for less than half of what they are selling them for today. Check on the tire blowout. The "4 Seasons" the salesperson told us about turned out to be a piece of plastic stapled to the bottom. No insulation. The walls are 1/4 inch plywood with no insulation. I'm planning to redesign the layout and upgrade some of the appliances. Ours is good for 9 seasons only. No plans to full time.
