Wow , you guys nailed it ! Your channel popped up this morning, I’m researching for my holiday there next year in May. It is interesting that you jumped on a bus to the North Shore and Manoa Falls , I’m planning to hire a car for a couple days to divide the island into two with the car but our holiday will be 14 days. I know we will have spare days so a bus ride to Manoa Falls back to Haleiwa wouldn’t be out of the question. We could enjoy the landscape more on a bus and no hassles of parking.
How long was the bus ride to the NorthShore area and Manoa Falls ? As I understand it , the bus stops a little distance from Manoa Falls , time wise from the bus stop the start of the falls , how long is that part ?

I live in Honolulu. Smiths bar is very dangerous specially after dark. You can be mugged, stabbed, killed. Be careful… I know people that have had to go through reconstructive bone surgeries. Its not a joke. The micronesian youth and homeless. Beware…
So awesome that you took the bus to a lot of places. I was on O'ahu in July 22 and decided not to rent a car. I loved how I was able to just chill (let someone else do the driving!) and get around on the bus to various areas. I'm in the process of planning another car-free trip back to the island. Thanks for a great video!

Long long ago there used to be a Korean bar. I think it was on lewers street next to kapiolani blvd. maybe it was Arirang. You could buy one or two beers and a hostess a drink and you would get a whole bunch of pupus. The wahine would make you feel special too.

Diamondhead is a nice hike for anyone who is of at least average shape. Kokohead will kick your butt!
