JAPAN CONVENIENCE STORES – A CONBINI/KONBINI GUIDE! Looking for cheap food in Japan? Japan’s Conbinis, or sometimes spelt as Konbinis (Family Mart, 7/11 and Lawson Station) provide travellers and tourists with a cheap alternative to eating out in restaurants or eating street food.

I absolutely love Conbinis! They are so different from Family Mart and 7/11 in other countries as they provide such a fantastic variety of both Japanese food and Western Food, from Onigiri (Seaweed Rice Triangle) to Egg Sandwiches and more.

In this video, First World Traveller takes a look around all 3 major Convenience store chains as well as the lesser known Mini Stop in Tokyo showing you how you can survive on a budget of 1,000 Yen per day (around $9-10 USD in July 2017.
