Exploring the 100 year old Nijo Fish Market in the heart of Sapporo, Hokkaido. This historic Japanese market used to be much larger and covered both sides of the Toyohira river in Sapporo. This market sells more than just fish, in fact I saw a lot of dried seafood, shellfish and lots and lots of crabs. Of all the many species, I saw king crab, snow crab and hairy crab for sale.
Afterwards I visited a small park to enjoy the cherry blossoms as the cherry trees were still blooming. Ep 72
