I’m spending a week in Hanoi, Vietnam and started off with an amazing private street food tour with Jamie, my guide. Join me in my adventure eating cuisine centered around North Vietnam! Prices vary by the season and I got this tour for $41.00.

  1. Aloha Misty: Thank you for taking us along on a culinary tour of Hanoi. I really enjoyed this tour, and seeing the authentic Vietnamese food. I can imagine the taste of the fried crab with some chili sauce and pairing it with a cold brew! The sausage, and shrimp cakes, which you had with your twenty-seven cents beer, must have been a delight. Looking forward to more adventures soon from you and friends! Much 🤙 and 🧧, my fellow alumni! Best wishes to you and ohana!

  2. Amazing tour. If you are going all the way to Vietnam, you might as well try out the local cuisine. The worm thing was the best! Don't know if I could have done it, but glad you tried it.

  3. Howzit Misty, did you get sick from eating uncooked vegetables in Hanoi? Also, did you eat or drink anything with ice and did you get sick? Thx for sharing your travel experience

  4. Hi Misty, wow you're in Vietnam this time of year it’s very hot and humid. Are you going to South of Vietnam? Have fun and enjoying the foods. Thank you for sharing your video.

  5. Aloha Misty !
    Vietnam is on my bucket-list.
    Enjoyed watching this clip.
Based on the cheaper prices in Vietnam… $41 seems a bit high.

Perhaps you could share with us the visa cost and process, airline you flew, hotels,
    etc. ???

  6. WOW!! You are totally in food heaven! Incredible variety and volume, everything looks so fresh, and complex in flavor 🤩🤤. Especially the bahn cuon nong, so many textures and flavors going on. Never heard of it, i wonder if they have it here and would love to try. Props for being open and willing to try all kines, really getting the most out of the food tour and it's only day one 👍! Looking forward to the rest of this foodie/cultural adventure 😃!

  7. Everything looks so fresh and delicious! 🥢🍲❤😋 I love Vietnamese food, but didn’t realize the difference between North and South! One word describes them both, YUM, lol. 🥢🍲❤️😋

  8. Yea, I am jealous right now. if you go to Ha long Bay, post a video. Not sure when the flowers drop, but if you go to the perfume river, see if it smells like perfume. I was told it smells like flowers or perfume when the flowers drop into it. There is a you tuber who is Vietnamese and lives in Hanoi. I think she went to America for college. Her channel is what the pho. Like I said, I am jealous.

  9. Secret to keeping coffee hot: Put about an half inch of water in your coffee cup and microwave a minute. The cup comes out hot and the water is steaming and keeps your coffee hot. I have a cup warmer; I plug it in and put my cup on it and my coffee stays hot the whole time. It was a gift and I love it. ❤☕️❤

  10. Wow! That’s so cool you’re in Vietnam Misty! Enjoy all the beauty and good food. I leave for Europe on Friday!

  11. Wow, amazing food tour. Thank you for taking us along. Hope you had an awesome trip!

  12. Hi Sista. Love vietnamese food. Always wanted to go there & eat the street foods. Got to be careful though, I've heard of plenty people getting sick, because there stomachs are not used to it. Debbie and I at one time wanted to buy a home there & retire. Home's very affordable with land for a garden. The only draw back is horrible heath care for seniors. God bless you guys & keep up the inspirational videos.

  13. Thanks for another deelish video🤙🏼. I have never had Vietnamese food…yet. That pho with the sauce looked really good. What a cool trip! 🤙🏼

  14. The food looks great , but it was interesting to get a first hand look into a communist country.

  15. 24:21 “27 Cent beer. How can you go wrong?”
