Kusadasi is a holiday resort, but with so much more than the genuine fakes it is known for today. The castle is easy to get to as is the marina, almost equidistant on either side of the duty-free cruise port. There is much history here, and the sites of ruins are endless, but the best known must be Ephesus and its museum. We have this general film, which ends with frames from Ephesus and the museum, and another fuller film of a trip there.

We visited this port on our European cruise and it was our least favorite port. The people are very aggressive on selling those rugs.
