  7. I agree, Mexico feel like home to me and coming here in November felt like a homecoming for me. And I'm a white person, lol.

  8. Thanks so much for this fun and informative chat! I have a question.. if any of you were single, and wanted to still make the move, would you do so alone??!! Thanks!! It seems it’s easier when you have a partner!

  9. We're doing the nomadic lifestyle for a few years in our little RV…my adult son and I. I hear you with the whole big about the excitement of going to a new place tempered with wanting to stay somewhere and put down roots. BUT we realize it's such a blessing to be able to spend a few years checking out all these amazing places in Mexico first…

  10. BTW, we are LOVING Patzcuaro as a summer home base! We can't drive any longer than about 5 hours a day in our 28' RV.

  11. Wow! Great gathering! I have been following 2 Travelers and Gringo R us. Nice to see in same room

  19. My esposa and I have been in Mexico for over five years, and there has never been any regrets. It's a huge difference from living in the USA. The people are truly top-notch. We have no plans to ever move back.

  20. If one tries to qualify for Temp or Permanent Residency now with the Peso being so strong, those living on social security may not qualify unless they have savings or marriage to a Mexican Citizen.
