If you’re in Japan, and come to Hakata in Fukuoka, make some time to visit Hakata Port Tower. It was built by the same man who built Tokyo Tower, the famous engineer and architect, Tachu Naito.
The great thing about this Tower, is it’s free to enter and go up to the observation deck, where you will enjoy amazing views of the port area and the cityscape.
I visited the tower by chance while waiting for a ferry to a nearby island, and it was well worth it, so much so that I made this video for you.
