  2. In Japan, can you first find a new job then hand in a resignation for your old job? That's how it works in America.

  3. Unless she gets her tuition paid for,she won't make it to college…will get stuck in the grind, hopes fade again and gets older, gives up…rinse, repeat!

  4. I had similar problems with my last job and was going to quit. However, I was laid off 3 months ago because the small startup has no idea what they're doing and couldn't pay me anymore. 😅🙄

  5. When I quit one job I really didn't want to work at, my boss ALSO invited me to lunch and paid for my meal. They pressed me HARD trying to make me stay, even though I gave prior notice. They used so many tactics but thankfully, I had my resolve and was able to stick with my plans.

One thing that helped me have that resolve is giving them prior notice, e.g. 2 weeks. It made me feel like I've done my part and given them at least some time to find a replacement, so it's easier to stick to your resolve when they bombard you with manipulation. It's still hard obviously, and minimising your contact with them is probably best. (I also planned to leave during a time that made sense for everyone, so picking a good date also helps.)

  6. Im new to the channel. I watched all your videos in a couple weeks, and are my favorite Japenese Youtuber now! You have such an interesting life and are so kind. Keep up the amazing efforts.

  7. Wow, how great! Good for her, for carrying through and actually quitting – and good for Yuki for being there for her and encouraging her. She’s lucky to have a friend like you.

Isn’t that the greatest feeling, when you know that you really helped a friend? There have been two times in my life when I really worked hard at encouraging people, being there for them whenever they felt down, giving them all the positive energy I could. Both friends made complete turnarounds in their lives, I feel like they themselves are my life’s work I’m most proud of. It’s the best feeling in the world. Good for you, Yuki, keep us posted on how she’s doing.

  8. I wish Yuki was my friend. You definitely know what to say in tough situations. I hope she's well. Please keep us updated on her often. We are rooting for her!

  9. ..5:29 | 9:24. . .these are the most important points I liked..
    .
..here in our country, it's better to look for a new job that you are sure you will be hire before to get resign in current company – but here in Japan, I guess, it's easy to quit and find another one..
    .
..and yeah looking forward to her journey of her dream..
    .
..thank you Yuki-chan for this video, I enjoy..

  10. Good decision
I appreciate her and you too
Plz send mine small message to her
Tell her to start up with a new small business service than being slaves to other
You're never able to grow by doing other job
It's hard to start your own at first but when you did it's can give you enormous amount of experience and knowledge related to money people and world that you live in.
    😇

  11. I don't know why but I love your vibe yuki, especially when you say "hello world". Please keep being yourself, never change!

  12. Im so glad that she was strong and went through with her resignation! Sounds like they were pulling a psyop to get their slave to stay but she had the genius of Yuki influencing her so it failed. EPIC WIN! 👏👏👏🏆🥇💯

  13. You're talking to each other like a married couple XD
Great support, she needed that extra push to get over her boss's manipulations.

  14. Glad she quit that awful job, it is a harsh decision (from personal experience I know) but Yuki is right, you have a life. You have one life only.

Although in my case I never worked for a black company (as they are called in Japan) I was hated by my immediate bosses to an extent because I was a hardworker and a honest one (something that is not valued to an extent here in Colombia).

Btw Yuki, what happened to you lower lip if I may ask?
