  1. This what I was hoping for Batik Air Indonesia should be, I hope one day Zip Air open route from Tokyo to Jakarta

  2. My family wants to take a trip to Japan in the next year or so and I’d never heard of this airline it looks great maybe we’ll consider using zipair

  3. Great flight and review. What? Unlimited Free WiFi? On a Low Cost Carrier? 😮😮😮😮😮😮 Unbelievable.

  4. the business class is really good deal if you can book one before it sold out lol

TBIT was one of the worst years ago before its renovation, used to hate flying there but not much choice for my connection flight to HK lol

    12:02 Starlux 😆

Low cost airlines… really not much good experience, especially HK Express, be careful when buying ticket, their fare are ridiculous, booked a trip from HK to NRT for 2, first ticket was issued around HKD 1K, but the second ticket told you the fare was no longer available, which changed to HKD 4K, since I already picked the seat for the first one and want to stay together I bought the second one and immediately have a bad feeling; just few hours later the price drop back to 1K and the next day was 788, I saw stock that fluctuated less than that, absolutely crazy, just like the parent company CX, only focus on making $ now

  5. This is a fantastic product, and I've flown in evey class on a lot of Airlines. What great quality. I hope Zip comes to Australia so I can stop flying Qantas and Jetstar. Other Airlines take note on how it should be done! And Scoot! 💩💩💩

  6. I love Zipair's font and livery! Btw the "waterproof underwear" looks like period underwear. It's expensive but a great idea nonetheless 👍🏻

  7. I mean you kinda raise my interest to see you testing the sanitary shorts after you mention it for couple of times hahahah

  8. I hate the idea of long haul low cost carriers. Even my favourite LCC, AirAsia's long haul product is very awful. A330 in 3-3-3 abreast is just inhuman and flying pandemic incubator. Scoot and its horrible predecessor, Tiger Air are notorious for delays and shenanigans resulting from their operational fiascos. Even I can't recommend them for short haul flights.
Southeast Asians simply doesn't understand cheap long haul flights, despite having the world's best airline as a parent. It is simply because they are creating a product for a customer segment that they usually treat with disdain and look at with scornful attitude. Therefore I recommend specialists like AirAsia.
Japan is a bit special where every paying customers are often unnecessarily treated like royalties. I think this Zipair presentation is very attractive, and comparing them to amenity-less Japanese business hotels are very apt. Singapore Airlines brag about "little details" – but they are simply no match to the "thoughtfulness" of Japanese services. There is this feeling that their boss or their family did fly their economy class sometimes, while I can't say the same with Southeast Asian long haul cheaps.
To be honest, IFEs are a bit overrated. They are hyper expensive for the airline to pay for the content licenses, and more often are formatted in a very low resolution format (e.g., animation films). China Airlines have plenty of selections – but a lot of them are barely watchable due to the poor format quality, some scenes in films like Coco or Bullet Train are just messy grainy blurry low resolution jumble of colours. Just give us free charging, and we'll watch from our device. It saves quite a lot of weight, each IFE monitors weighed at 850 gr x 200 = 170 kg excluding the audio systems and awful cheap complimentary earphones tagging along every flight.

  9. Hi Guys,
I keep enjoying your videos every time. I'm not a geek, but with about 600 flights behind I still like learning a lot.
May I ask a question: why don't you make a kind of 'directory' on your website (as I see it's coming soon) regarding which is you mostly recommended carrier from X to Y? I'm not thinking in all specific country or city but the major routes, ie. from Europe (FRA, VIE, LHR etc.) to the US, to the Far East and so on. That would be very helpful for many people.
All the best from your neighborhood 😜

  10. Looks like a really great airline in terms of value for money! I hope they also fly to Europe in the future.

  11. Recommend Air Premia from LAX or EWR to ICN. 35 inches of economy class, offering meal service, screen with entertainments and Wifi. Cheaper than KE and OZ!

  12. I hope for East Coast flights from Zipair. Will be a great opportunity for lie flat comfort on long haul. I just need to sleep, the amenities are not that important.

  13. You may find this silly but the reason Qantas makes the plane stay all day in "maintenance" is so they take off later on and fly at night, that way people can't distinguish the route and notice that the earth is not a ball. What about you, it seems you are a very curious person, is that something you've look into?, You should, you spend too much time in this activity to ignore the problem.

  14. I get nauseous from the in-flight screens that close to my face, so yes, wifi instead would be so nice

  15. Free Wi-FI on board an international long haul flight is amazing! Especially on a low cost airline. Great flight!

  16. I never watch a movie onboard, therefore not interested in big screens, however a map channel, an outside camera channel, and air traffic communication channel will always make me happy and willing to pay a little more.

  17. I haven’t watched a brutally honest in a while. Awesome music intro I’m looking forward to catching up! Interesting to see the QF Maintenance Base on takeoff.

  18. I want the TV at my seat on long haul flights. I hate using my phone on trips outside the US. After all, I am on vacation and I do not to be bothered at all.

  19. don't take Narita express, take Keisei skyliner. it's like 30+ minutes to keisei Ueno station (which is like 50m down the street from JR ueno station) and cheaper than Narita express.

  20. Very good value. Personally, I'd splurge and take the business seat instead. All said, Zipair has definitely raised the bar on LCC travel.

  21. I'd go that business class for sure. I'm happy with meals like that and using my own screen for entertainment. I don't mind having to buy on board drinks and snacks as well as long as prices stay human.

I wish more airlines offered this solution at a great cost. The UAE airlines offer a J class fare without lounge access, less luggage etc., but it's hardly worth the savings. Infact all they are doing is offering less service at sales prices that existed prior to Covid.

To me, this business class is more like what PE should be. PE should be Economy+

We need more airlines like this, Jetblue etc. Who will shake up the industry
