ABOUT
Howdy! My name is Scott. In 2017, I was unhappy with a traditional house (aka, storage unit) and a long Chicago commute. In 2018, I reinvented my life which included buying a Winnebago Travato GL Camper Van. Now in my 5th year of full-time travel in my Class B RV, I help others achieve thier RV travel dreams more quickly and more fully. Thanks for watching and being part of the Go Small. Live Large! you can have a party where everybody brings their own TP on necklace — BYOTP – everyone has to bring and use their own – and just hang out at the party with their necklace. it can be the new thing for a GSLL meetup everyone in their necklace and never worrying about being stuck without a roll
When did you relocate home base from IL to FL? Did you mention it in a video?
Tissue malfunction – ha! You crack me up. That mannequin display may get copied as a selfie station at the next Midwest retriever hunt test. Those folks will appreciate the humor. And understand how the overlanders roll. I am with you on the benefits of indoor van plumbing….
LOL. Im with you, for $200K I want some comforts of home.
Sorry I missed the live stream, but I’ll be jingling along on the replay. Cheers.
We’re going to Overland East for the whole thing. I hope it’s dry for us 😂. I’m 4wd but heavy. I figured just give it a shot, see what they got. Mainly to see products and seminars. Guess I’ll find out 🤷🏼♂️😂
We know Scott does not do the boondocking thing 😂
Scott, I'm very disappointed in your very harsh criticism of the Overland West Expo in Flagstaff. I have a Winnebago Boldt that I use on a regular basis and I love the van life just like you. The depiction of the toilet paper holder as a compilation of the whole show was very short sighted. I found the show to be very cool. It was huge with a lot to see and a lot of it was very applicable to our van lifestyle. A lot of innovative gadgets and gear that van people could totally use. Yes, much of it was for the offroad people but that was certainly not all of it. Many van conversions there too!
