That is a lot of breakfasts you eat in 1 morning 😊😊
Nice video, thanks!
I like Beck’s, but it looks like their breakfast menu has changed since 2019 when I last visited Japan.
This is a very useful video. Thank you!
I go to Yoshinoya every day for lunch. Free okawari 🍚
Nice as always.shinjuku looks nice in summer.could you do a video about cheap places to stay with weekly or monthly rates? Thanks
Banzai! Did I get it right? More to come. 😊
One of the best (and funny) things from my trip was going to the kombini every morning and try different foods for breakfast.
By the end of the trip I already had a favorite: the 7Eleven egg and ham sandwich (assorted), and I think the first thing I'll do when I arrive in Japan again is going directly to a 7Eleven to buy and eat one, together with a salty litchi, the best drink for me! hahahahahha
Thank you for showing the different places to eat for breakfast.
i always go for the restaurants that serve rice as it is more filling for me – Nakau, Yoshinoya and Sukiya.
Was wondering why you did not talk about Matsuya, because you talked about Matsunoya instead, which is a restaurant i was not aware of.
Thank you i will add Matsunoya to the list of restaurants to try for breakfast.
For Jonathans I only know the one near Okachimachi station and Ameyoko. Now i know they got more locations.
Congratulations on 10K subscribers! Keep up to great work. Our family has a great time visiting Tokyo last winter, looking forward to going back sooner than later.
Another informative video with information for cost conscious retired seniors like us. Thank you Kengo san!
I will definitely try all of these places next time.. thank you! 🥰
So cool, our hotel is right next door to that park 😊
Where can i get traditional japanese breakfast? 😊
Dennys looked delicious
Another great video! Thanks Kenchan, I will add these to my list for breakfast choices when I go to Tokyo later this year!
Hi Ken San, sorry my question is out of topic. I planned for a day trip to MtFuji using highway bus from Shinjuku. Places to visit are : Chureito Pagoda, Honco Street, Oshino Hakai, and Ancient Village Saiko Iyashi-no Sato Nemba. According to you, how should my route be in order to visit all those places efficiently ?
wow, the konbini food was just around 400 yen? Thats a very reasonable price!! In Germany just the Onigiri alone costs 2,50€, which is about 400 yen.. Can't wait to have Onigiri every morning soon hehe
Thanks
I wish this video had been published last time I was in Tokyo. A lot of the restaurants that serve big meals don't open 'til 11, so I've gotten stuck eating onigiri for breakfast plenty of times.
Thanks a lot for another great video. Outside of Tokyo, I usually have breakfast at the accommodation. In the Ryokans, I love to try the traditional breakfast and I eat everything (but I dont like natto). Or if I stay in a place like Dormy Inn, I enjoy the buffet, with a mix of Japanese and Western choices.
In Tokyo, I find it a bit more difficult. There, mostly I go for food from the konbini (currypan is a favorite but not healthy choice), or – and I am ashamed to admit it – for McDonalds. Or skip breakfast, and look forward to lunch.
Very helpful video. Breakfasts looks very affordable, especially compared to Australia where coffee latte will cost 400 yen alone
Thanks. Very helpufl!
Thank you so much. Coming back to tokyo at the end of June. Have not been in many years!
Tonkatsu and egg bowl in the morning … Matsunoya !!!!
Kenchan san, thank you for this. So helpful and much appreciated. Sorry but I have an unrelated question regarding the Suica app on an iPhone. If I have that on my phone and I’m coming from overseas, do you know if I can still use and top it up like a local resident? Arigatoo.
I am going so soon! I am so happy you shared this video with me! I will check out these restaurants! Thank you so much!😊Keep making great videos!
I found a “brunch” hack if you get up late. Go to Yayoiken chain (ticket machine restaurant), and while the official breakfast items will be disabled after 10:30/11:00, they don’t disable the “Japanese omelette” from the side item menu. I would always go there about noon, and just order two omelettes. Always got interesting looks from the staff, but they were served every time. 😂
Thanks for recommending these places with reasonably priced breakfast. It is very helpful!
Im happy that 3 of our favorite breakfast shop was included. Dotour, Becks and Konbini! Im missing their tastes already. 😔
I really like your video! It touches on practical topic that gets very little coverage. For average tourist, convenience store is the only option. This video gives me a new perspective!
Thanks for this video.. I am now in Tokyo and will try out one of these places!! I’m getting tired of 7-11 stuff already 😂
