Inside Singapore’s Hasidic Jewish Community 🇸🇬 – Jews of Singapore – In this video, I take you inside Singapore’s Hasidic Jewish community. I have conversations with locals to understand about their culture, traditions, and way of life. I also get to personally experience some of their customs, like their traditional attire, cuisine, and religious beliefs. They were incredibly friendly and ready to teach me about their culture. I gained a greater appreciation for this distinctive religion after learning a lot about Hasidic Judaism.

  1. This is interesting. I've always been so curious about Jewish culture which seems so private with their rituals and religious practices.

  2. Nice to know Israeli things exists all around the world . I was in Guatemala and they had a huge Chabad presence! 🙂

  3. At this day and age, is it still common to convert to Judaism or does a person only get born to it to be part of the faith?

  4. Very exciting to see this. Love to see the pockets of b'nei Israel around the world. It is funny how being nomadic ends up making it easy to find a home among Jews everywhere.

  5. You say you only ate rice in china, but I saw you eat chicken in dubai, does that mean you personally will eat halal food? I just assumed you ate non kosher food

  6. I feel like I am watching a documentary! Very informative! looking forward to your next videos 🙂

  7. We can pray that the Shah's son gets Iran back, and the people can get the freedoms they deserve.

  8. Definitely this is one of the best series I have ever seen. Can't wait for your other South East Asian episodes. All the best!

I'm myself European Latina 🇪🇺🇵🇹 and Christian ✝️ and I do eat Kosher dietary food 🍽️ with cutlery 🍴 too (Btw….. Lol 😅). I'm not Arab Mizrahi or middle – Eastern, even though my deep old roots from my father family are Semitic Sephardic, still, I'm European Latina and Christian and I do live a Kosher lifestyle and I do eat Kosher dietary food, OK!!!
    Thanks! 👍🏻

  11. The moment I saw the blue siddur I knew this was a Chabad community – exactly the siddur I use.

  13. I can NOT get over how many torah scrolls they have!! Someone should write a book on how they came to receive so many!! And the history of each one! Fascinating!

  14. Thank you, very interesting, the fish and chips were very English, and the pita looked tasty. I thought Singapore would be very crowded and built up but it looks good
