Japan 🇯🇵 Hirosaki Park
Hirosaki Park is a park located in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. Other names are Takayo Park and Oyoen.
It is also known as a famous place where about 50 species and 2600 cherry blossoms bloom in spring.
Luxurious Hirosaki Park covers 49 hectares and includes a castle, watchtowers, canals, bridges and children’s playgrounds. The park plays a central role in Hirosaki’s urban tourism, hosting important cultural events.
The castle is located almost directly in the center of the park and is surrounded by five channels: inner, Lotus Pond, central, western and outer.
Bridges are laid across the canals. There are nine in total. Each of the bridges is distinguished by its elegant beauty. However, the most scenic view is from the Gyojo Bridge.
