We had a mere 48 hours in Hiroshima and we fell in love with the city pretty much immediately. The food was delicious, but more importantly, the people were some of the nicest we met on this entire trip. We had front row seats to watching an expert okonomiyaki chef, visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial park and museum, ate Hiroshima style tsukemen, drank locally-made sake and more. We even took a day trip to Miyajima island, hiked the gorgeous Mt. Misen, and ate some more. I really can’t recommend this city enough and will be coming back here again someday soon.

  1. Super educational. Super helpful for someone that is intimidated to travel outside of the states. Great job!
