I stayed at the newest capsule hotel in Tokyo The name of the hotel is “eeGee STAY Kamata” (イージーステイ蒲田).

It is the latest capsule hotel that just opened in 2022 and is very popular. There are many free offerings, and it is easy to access Haneda Airport

  2. Great area, inexpensive room, clean, organized, intelligent. Why so many masks?

You can never have this in the US.
Folks here just don’t care. The government doesn’t care.

I’m assuming Japan has zero tolerance for drugs?

    From Jacksonville, Florida

  3. Omg Japan I love it hopefully one-day I will be able to travel like you my friend much love from the USA I wish we could be like this is amazing

  6. so interesting to watch you visiting hotels, as if I did a short outbreak out of daily routine myself 😅😉

  7. Having the loung literally in front of your capsule might be disturbing with people going to make tea or ramen in the middle of the night

  8. what an interesting design! I especially like the very high ceilings, that can help a small space to feel bigger. I am glad it was a comfortable stay for you!

  9. I wouldn't mind staying a couple nights. Capsule hotels are the best things the Japanese ever invented. The biggest cost of traveling is lodging.

  10. Last week, I had initially planned to stay at this hotel. However, after reading some negative reviews, I decided to book a different hotel. One of the most concerning issue is that the hotel's policy of not allowing guests to enter or re-enter the premises between 10am and 3pm, regardless of the reason. This policy seemed unreasonable to me, as guests may need to return to their rooms to retrieve forgotten items or rest due to fatigue or illness, for instance. While this policy may make it easier for the hotel staff to clean the rooms, it is entirely unnecessary and inconvenient for guests.

  12. Lovely place at a good price. You are correct. Something cool or cold after a hot shower taste great.
