Welcome to Kuala Lumpur International Airport! I’ve been to Malaysia quite a few times in the past, but I never get to fly with Malaysia airlines. This morning, thanks to Oman Air, I’m finally going to fly with them to Bali Denpasar on an A330 aircraft. Hopefully, it’ll be a great experience. Let’s go!

  1. The business class lady who greets everyone by last name might get some tricky names sometimes, great review

  2. I always had very sub par experiences at the First Class dining room. Oh! There used to be a small self serve buffet at the main First lounge, misit be a victim of COVID. I've always found the catering to be heaps better in the business lounge. The so called premium economy seats in the A330 used to be business … But they all got squashed together using less space with the Vantage shell seats. Last time I took this flight, it was a clapped out 737-800😅. Can't go wrong with MH Nasi Lemak, some of the best in the sky.

  3. PTSD from being in that KLIA terminal during covid when everything was closed. Very depressing place. My favourite thing about Malaysian Airways is the boarding music lol.

  4. Good review. I had a broadly positive experience with MA last year. The long-haul product is very good and the short-haul's good too. But the airline cancelled a connecting flight and that makes me wary of trusting them again until they have fully recovered from the pandemic.

  5. I think your videos would be even more helpful if you included details of your flight ticket, the price paid and any possible discount available !!

  6. KLIA is notorious for being an "traveller-unfriendly" airport. Other than the confusing signage you saw, the Aerotrain is broken all the time. You are lucky that you grasped a room in Sama Sama Hotel with a nice view. The room I stayed had no window at all as if it was a cell. Should give a thumb up to Malaysia Airlines who delivered warm Malaysian hospitality. It is also one of my favourite airlines.

  7. Hi Rory thank you for the video. The hotel is a great idea especially if you have a long stop over. Your meal in business class looked very good hope you enjoyed it. Enjoying your trip can't wait for next video. Thank you

  8. MH is such a come down after flying Omanair (plane, seat comfort, catering, service) That certainly was my experience flying from NZ to Europe on an Omanair ticket last September. A real shame to see Malaysia's demise from a 5 star airline (and to think i rated them higher than SQ years ago because I truly thought that). The crew are still warm. The Auckland to KL leg can be such a lottery. You might get lucky and get a flight operated by their A350 (hint 27A is a great seat in scum class. Well, I like it) or you will be stuck in purgatory on their ex-AirBerlin, pensioner, A330-200s, contorted with your ankles near your ear lobes! I believe they've ordered A330-900s which would really up their competiveness. The A339 is a superb aircraft for passenger comfort. Better than the A359 or the 789 in my humble opinion.

  9. First time watching your travel video. Great video and commentary. I’m also impressed with MAS in flight seat layout, f&b and service. Never transited in KLIA but it does look appealing. Would try one day.

  10. Nice vlog. Wise choice to grab food at MH business lounge rather than first class lounge. I did the same too lol

  11. You are always able to find amazing value for money! Great video. We are looking forward to watching your videos from Bali.

  12. Omg your review is so detailed and the best I've ever seen! I feel like I was travelling with you lol😊. I think Malaysia Airlines should thank you like a big time… this review is like a very positive documentary for Malaysia Airlines.

  13. Great review as always. Just curious who was that other Vlogger sitting across from you?

  14. I flew from Sydney to Milan using Malaysian and Oman there is no comparison between the airlines I would never fly Malaysian again lack of storage in business class and cramped seat – terrible experience.

  15. Malaysian Airlines has really dropped their game. Alot of their fleet is run down and tired. Alot of their staff are also not as friendly and welcoming as they once were. I flew Melbourne KL recently return and it's was a terrible experience

  16. Rory is the best traveler Inhave ever watched in Youtube, BEST EVER ON EARTH🎉🎉🎉

  17. I have flown with Malaysia airlines in economy as you say always smiles and always helpful ❤ Malaysia

  18. The meal is too “standard” for the business class. Like your video ❤

  19. It's a shame that you never got to try MAS on long-haul flights. The food and portion sizes were great. Especially the satay. They might be cost-cutting right now considering how bankrupt the government is. It'll be interesting to watch your review of MAS on their long haul.

  20. Have just come across your Channel & watching your other reports. You’re a Fab reviewer, you take your time and explain everything clearly and show us so much of the whole travel experience from start to finish with useful information as well😊
