Japan Travel Vlog – In this episode, we make our way to the Sanno Shrine where its main entrance consists of two large camphor trees that are side by side. These two camphor trees have been said to have withstood the Nagasaki atomic bomb blast. We then walked to Suwa shrine and are greeted by a series of concrete tori gates before climbing up the illuminated steps to the main shrine. At the top of the shrine, the night view looking down onto Nagasaki city is just spectacular. The shrine was quiet and empty as we came in the evening.
