  1. I just had an exchange with someone who lives in GDL and who claims that all the claims that living in Guadalajara is cheaper then the US is false, because in the US we have discount stores and products, and even Numbeo is itself misleading about comparisons with Guadalajara. What do you think about this?

  2. I have Mexican citizenship but thinking of moving to México and even tho I don't need to go through the process maybe I can get some useful tips from this video

  3. This attorney & Jose Artega's attorney – seem to differ – when it comes to temp residency w/o financial 'requirements' – if – you get any SS check for any amount – if – your > over 65 ? — Can you clear this up ? (the over 65 thing) He indicated any amount may qualify & is up to the consulate you apply at ? Could be as low as $1000 a month ? For retirees perhaps ?

  4. Hi Jordan and May – My husband is a hemiplegic (left side paralysis. He currently lives in assisted living. We live in Oregon. We are interested in moving to Mexico. We recently went to Guadalajara and liked it very much. We hope to visit Queretaro next. What can you tell us about assisted living places in Queretaro? There do seem to be quite a few.

  5. I am going to apply for residency next month . I am not sure if Its better to apply for permanent . My wife is Mexican age 59 . I am just a baby at age 57. We have about 350k in Roth IRA and earn more than the required amount.

  6. If someone was born in Mexico and now lives in Canada do we still have to show this set amount of money for 12 months?

  7. Can you please send me Mario’s website and email address? You should have it in your video!!
    Thank you 😊

  8. I retire in 4 years don’t want to wait to get dual citizenship as I live in Texas 25 miles from San Antonio-I work from home but since I work for theState of Texas we are not allowed to work out of Texas. I’m Hispanic my husband Scottish/Irish decent Can ee start the process now before it gets too hard to move there

  9. $2700 US…..monthly! Yet many youtube channels purportedly stating one can live off social security.

  10. did you just encourage women to get pregnant & have a child to get residency, even better than getting married ? !!

  11. 1:36 What? 500 or 300 times minimum wage – can you explain this please?
207 Pesos multiplied by 500? So American minimum would be 103,500 pesos monthly = Also written as American dollar monthly amount of $5713??

  12. Temp residency via marriage is definitely easier – we visited the Immigration office in our town one day and I got my card the next. 24 hour total process. Yes on the Apostilled docs – you can get them done within a week in the USA.

  13. Sorry I missed this live! I would’ve asked about the income requirements for temporary residency going through the consulate in Raleigh, NC which is closest to me. Does anyone know if there’s a published list anywhere online where you can find the current numbers for each consulate in the US?

I already checked the website for that consulate, but couldn’t find it listed anywhere.

  14. Did I understand him correctly that if a married woman has her married name on EVERY document (passport, bank statements, etc), but obviously your name on your birth certificate will be your maiden name… that you have to have a sworn statement that you are the same person??

Where would someone get such a sworn statement? Would a statement notarized by a notary public be sufficient, or does it have to come from some government agency??

  15. Don't ever think you can apply mx status easily all by yourself like you are in the US.. the mx gov makes it so difficult and complex that you almost must have a immigration lawyer to process papers for you.. I got my mx citizenship just this year but only after months of stumbling around.. Then someone told me they made the system difficult so the lawyers can profit from this..

  16. If I understand this correctly, for those who do not have a regular source of income, putting $ 40,000 into a bank account in Mexico is required for temporary residence. This would seem to exclude U.S. residents since Obama's unconstitutional FATCA law makes it illegal for a foreign bank to open or maintain an account for a "U.S. person" (citizen or resident) for an amount over $ 10,000. Would buying a property in Mexico for that amount qualify? Or would that have to be for $ 250,000 (or higher)?
